John Hohl ~ owner & head guide

A fly fisherman since 8 years old, John pursued his dream of fly fishing from an early age. He obtained a degree in fisheries biology to further his knowledge of the fish he pursues for a living. With his wife Dawn (see below) he has taken this pursuit through more than a dozen nations and localities always returning home though, to the greatest fishery in the world, Alaska. As a guide, biologist and pilot John breathes fly fishing.




Dawn Hohl ~ owner & guide

 Dawn’s fly fishing prowess have taken her from the tip of Tierra Del Fuego at the bottom of the hemisphere to the north of Alaska. A fisheries biology graduate and past fisheries biologist in 2 states, Dawn’s knowledge of the aquatic world is vast. Dawn understands the intimate details of Alaska’s fish, wildlife and fly anglers.




Levi Hohl ~ guide

 Levi has been an ardent fly angler for nearly his whole life. A cheerful, knowledgeable and competent guide, Levi knows how and where to get his anglers on fish. As a student of both biology and aircraft mechanics, Levi has learned to combine these two facets of Alaskan life as his daily mantra.




Mark Madura ~ pilot

Mark has over 35 years of aviation experience and 15 plus years of flying in the Alaskan bush. An extremely competent pilot; Mark and his immaculate DHC-2 Dehaviland Beaver are our lifeline to the vast fisheries of Southwest Alaska.
